Formed in 1996, the Friends of Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre, Inc. celebrate 7 years of hard work as a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated:
- To encourage community involvement and volunteerism in the Brentsville Historic Centre;
- To raise funds in the community and through grant applications to support the historic restoration and preservation of five 19th century structures and one early 20th century one room school house
- To support educational and historical programs at the Brentsville Historic Centre;
- To promote the acquisition and management of artifacts of historic importance to the courthouse, schoolhouse, jail, church, and related structures at the Brentsville Historic Centre;
- To support the Brentsville Centre's Historic transportation, community significance and natural resources;
- To conduct, sponsor, or facilitate the holding of conferences, seminars, tours, and other educational and information activities;
- To solicit and accept any gifts, funds, property to support the mission of the Friends of Brentsville Courthouse Historic Centre;
